Sagittarius New Moon

 

 

 

 

Hello? Is anybody still there? Has anyone else made it? Emerging from an Aries Moon followed by Scorpio Season, a Scorpio New Moon, and a Taurus Moon with an eclipse and powerful retrograde thrown in…. it feels like I am emerging from my apocalypse bunker to assess the damage and find other survivors. Even my journal took a battering and barely made it out alive! Thank you, cosmos, for this Sagittarius season!

 

On the 23rd of Nov 2022 at 22:57 in the evening the Moon enters its ‘New’ stage in the sign of Sagittarius.  I quite like Sagittariuses and find them very similar to Aquarians. Both freedom-loving and independent except Sagittarius the hunter is a lot more logical and organised. This hunter takes aim, draws back his bow and trusts himself, the process and his honed skills to know he won’t miss his target and produce results.

 

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, King of the Gods, filled with purpose and possibility. It is also important to recognise that this is the last full Lunar cycle of the traditional year. So, that means we have a fair amount to unpack here. Before we can move on to the fun of manifestation, let’s take stock and re-evaluate where we are at.

 

I am lucky enough to be able to spend the evening with one of my closest friends so we can help each other dig deep within ourselves to look back over 2022. Our Moon journal prompts will be:

·         What have we achieved?

·         What are we most proud of? Why?

·         What were the highlights?

·         What did we not achieve? Why?

·         What were the lowest points?

·         Where have I grown (or not)?

·         What lessons have I learned (or not)?

·         DON’T FORGET GRATITUDE!

These prompts can help set some framework for looking ahead to 2023. Take your time and spend as much time as you need, elaborate as much as you can!

 

When you feel ready, take a breather and let’s start looking toward 2023. Remember to use the manifestation power of the Moon (if you can believe it, you can achieve it!) and the independent freedom-seeking Sagittarius vibe when putting your plan together. You can journal this, make notes, a spider diagram or even a vision board, whatever works for you. This Lunar event is a great time to do this as it still gives us just over a month to tweak where we need to and create the practicalities of our 2023 mission. I always say it, but we are always here at the end of the phone to help you work through this and give advice on where your energy would be best directed.

 

So how can we enter Sagittarius season practically? For us singletons, try on the love of travel and freedom of a Sagittarius and try new places, socialise more, and change direction in your quest. You never know what you might find! For those in a relationship, explore new areas, go for long winter walks, and explore new areas of each other mentally, physically or spiritually. Although, it is important to allow each other a little more personal freedom within the relationship right now too.

 

So, before the year is out, commit to using this season to do something bold. Book that holiday, buy that online course to expand your brain, let that person know how you feel and take charge and ask them out, just make sure you’re wrapped up warm!
